How it happened

Mythical Games is a U.S. Web3 gaming studio that reached a ~$1.25B valuation in 2021 during the blockchain-gaming boom. As crypto and NFT enthusiasm cooled, it raised a 2023 round at a ~$965M pre-money valuation, a down round that pushed it below the $1B mark. A later Series D in October 2025 may have re-crossed $1B.
