Glassdoor reviews trace the slide from inside: employees described strategy that pivoted at every monthly all-hands, a revolving door of CTOs each ordering their own reorg, and rolling layoffs and brain drain from 2020 on. As the company's rating sank, several reviewers said staff were asked to post positive reviews.

How it happened
InVision built a platform for digital product design β prototyping, collaboration and the Freehand whiteboard β an early darling of UX teams that raised more than $350M and peaked near a $2B valuation in 2018.
But Figma's browser-native tools eroded its core market; revenue roughly halved to about $50M by 2022, and after selling Freehand to Miro in 2023 it wound down, shutting off on December 31, 2024.
